The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with various variable markings, often including a dark irregular diagonal line across the middle separating a darker area from a paler area. The hindwings are each off-white with a narrow dark margin. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms. The sexes are similar.

This species has been found in :

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.

    The subfamily of NOLIDAE into which this species should be placed is unclear at present.
