These Caterpillars feed on :

  • Billy Goat Plum ( Planchonia careya, LECYTHIDACEAE ).

    They pupate in individual cocoons inside a large communal cocoon the length of which can measure up to 30 cms.

    The adult moths of this species are brown with an eyespot on each wing. There is one dark line across each forewing, and two across each hindwing.
