The Caterpillars of this species bore into the stems of

  • Spikerushes ( Eleocharis species, CYPERACEAE ).

    The adult moths have brown forewings, each with one or more dark brown marks near the middle. The hindwings are pale brown.

    The species is found in Australia in

  • Queensland.
