The adult moths have forewings which are dark brown each with a white stripe extending from the base to wing-tip. The hindwings are dark brown. The antennae are brown with a white section. The moths only have a wingspan of about 1 cm.

The species has been found in:

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
