The caterpillars of this species feed on plants in URTICACEAE.

The adult moths have brown wings with a darker submarginal band, and a dark dot near the centre of the costa each forewing.

This species occurs in Australasia, including

  • Papua,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
