These Caterpillars have been found feeding on

  • Poplars ( Populus species, SALICACEAE ).

    The adult moth of this species is yellow with brown spots, a brown zigzag transverse line, and a broad brown band along the margin, of each wing. The wingspan is about 4.5 cms.

    The species is found from Africa to the Pacific, including

  • India,
  • Laos,
  • Philippines,
  • South Africa, and
  • Thailand,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland.
