Cirrhochrista species SPILOMELINAE,   CRAMBIDAE,   PYRALOIDEA

The adult of this species is satin-white with brown edges to the fore wings, and with brown spots along the costa. The body is also white, but has a brown dorsal stripe. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.

It is found in the rain forests of north-eastern Australia.
