The adult of this species is white and shiny, with a narrow brown costa and margin and sparse brown speckles. The moth has a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

It is found in

  • Queensland, especially in the complex mesophyll rainforest on Cape York in the Alexandra Range (Daintree), Cape Tribulation, and the Iron Range.
