The Caterpillars of this species feed on various species of

  • Fig Trees ( Ficus species, MORACEAE ).

    The adult moth is yellow with a prominent brown triangle on each forewing costa, a set of six black spots near each hindwing tornus, and a number of transparent windows. The wings have an iridescent sheen.

    The species occurs across south-east Asia, including

  • Andaman & Nicobar Islands,
  • Cambodia,
  • China,
  • India,
  • Philippines,
  • Taiwan,
  • Thailand,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
