The moth of this species has yellow wings, each with a broad darker margin. Each forewing has an outline of a comma shaped mark near the middle. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

Specimens of this species have been caught in

  • Amboina,
  • Fiji,
  • New Guinea,

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
