The moth has slightly patterned brown forewings, sometimes with wide yellow margins. The hindwings are a plain pale yellow. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

Specimens of this species have been caught in :

  • Malaysia,
  • Philippines,
  • , New Guinea

    as well as in Australia in

  • Queensland.
