The adult moths of this species of this species have forewings that are streaky grey with a browish tinge. The hindwings are pale grey, darkening towards the margins. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
