The adult moths of this species are pale brown, with a dark broad incomplete submarginal band of rusty spots on each wing. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
