The adult moths of this species are a speckled pale brown, with a small dark annular spot on each hindwing, often filled with orange. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species is found across south-east Asia, including :

  • Borneo,
  • Hong Kong,
  • India,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland.
