The adult moth of this species has off-white wings with faint dark transverse zigzag lines and with arcs of dark spots. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found as several subspecies across the Indian Ocean and the south Pacific, including

  • Madagascar
  • Fiji,

    as well as over much of Australia including

  • Western Australia
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
