The adult moths of this species have speckled brown forewings, each with three vague pale split transverse bars, and some vague orange patches along the margin and hind-margin. The hindwings are pale brown with darker brown wingtips. The moths have a wingspan of about 1 cm.

The species has been reported in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
