The adult moths of this species have dark brown forewings, sometimes each with a pale stripe along the costa. The hindwings are plain dark brown. The forewings each have a slightly recurved pointed wingtip, a slightly concave costa, and a concave hind-margin. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
