The adult moth of this species has forewings that are pale brown each with a large irregular dark brown patch in the middle. The hindwings are uniformly brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in

  • New Guinea,

    as well as in AUstralia in

  • Queensland.
