The adult moths have grey forewings, each with a variable dark markings. The hindwings are off-white, each darkening toward the wingtip. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
