The adult moth of this species has brown forewings, each with variable dark markings, sometimes including a dark spot near the base, a dark dog-leg band across the middle, and a dark mark along the hind-margin. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria.
