The adult moth has an orange head and thorax, and dark brown forewings, each with three partial white bars across each wing. The hindwings are pale brown fading to white at the bases. The wingspan is up to 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
