The Caterpillars of this species probably feed on dead leaves still on their twigs of various species of Gum Trees (MYRTACEAE).

The adult moths have white forewings, each with a postmedial black arc, and a black margin. The hindwings are white shading to pale brown at the wing-tips.. The head, labial palps, and prothorax are white. The rest of the thorax is black. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
