The adult moths of this species have orange forewings each with some variable dark patches, streaks, and spots. The hindwings are white shading to brown at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Western Australia, and
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Australian Capital Territory.
