These adult moths have forewings which are yellow, each with dark brown bands at the base, across the middle, and along the margin. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria
