The caterpillar creates a shelter from two phyllodes joined with silk.

For pupation, the caterpillar constructs a shelter from two ellipical pieces of phyllode joined with silk and attached firmly with silk to some nearby object.

The adult moth has brown forewings, each often with a dark-edged white spot near the middle. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.
