The forewings of the adult moth of this species are pale brown with one large and one small dark brown patch on the costa of each forewing. The hindwings are pale brown darkening towards the margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
