The Caterpillars of this species are pale orange, with a broad white-edged brown stripe along each side, and a black head. The caterpillars live in a shelter consisting of foodplant leaves joined with silk. The caterpillars feed on the leaves of

  • Turpentine (Syncarpia glomulifera, MYRTACEAE).

    The adult moths of this species have brown forewings each several faint dark spots. The hindwings are off-white with brown wing-tips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

    The species has been found in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
