The adult moths of this species have pale brown forewings, each with various dark markings including a dark comma shape near the middle of the wing. The hindwings are a golde colour with brown margins. The forewing costal edge, and the legs, have tinges of crimson. The abdomen has alternate bands of orange and dark brown. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.

    A suitable genus for this species yet to be chosen.
