The adult moths of this species have a white head, a dark brown thorax, and pale yellow wings with three broad dark brown bands. The hindwings are pale grey or brown. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species is found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • South Australia.
