The adult moths of this species have white forewings with black blotches. The hindwings are white shading to gey at the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species is found in eastern Australia, including:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
