The adult moth of this species has a bold pattern in dark brown and white on the forewings, The hindwings are pale orange with a vague brown submarginal band. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
