The adult moths of this species have variable patchy grey or brown forewings. The hindwings are plain brown, darkening towards the margins. The males have a wingspan of about 3 cms. The females have a wingspan of about 3.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • South Australia.
