These caterpillars bore into and feed on

  • Sheoaks ( Casuarina species, CASUARINACEAE ).

    The adult moths are white with six brown stripes along each forewing. The hindwings are pearly pale brown, fading to white at the bases. The moths have a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

    The species is found in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
