Thes Caterpillars are normally found boring into the stems of :

  • Mistletoe ( Amyema, LORANTHACEAE ),

    but have also been found boring into the stems of :

  • Broad-leaved beefwood ( Grevillea striata, PROTEACEAE ).

    The adult moth has yellow wings with broad black margins, with black tracery on the forewings. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.

    The species is found in

  • Queensland and
  • New South Wales.
