The adult moths of this species have grey forewings, with indistinct black spots and speckled curved bands. The hindwings are grey with dark wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found across Australia in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • Western Australia.
