The Caterpillars of this species feed on

  • Australian Pine ( Casuarina equisetifolia, CASUARINACEAE ),

    and have been suggested for control of this weed in Florida.

    The adult moths have brown forewings each with vague white sploches, and a narrow sinuous white submarginal band. The hindwings are pale brown fading towards the bases. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

    The species is found in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
