The pupa of this species is white with black spots. It is formed in an extensive white but translucent silk cocoon amongst the foliage of its foodplant. The pupa has a length of about 1.3 cms.

The adult moth has dark orange forewings, each with a variable number of white spots of various sizes. The hindwings are yellow. Its wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Western Australia, and
  • Queensland.
