The spotted Caterpillars of this species live communally in a silken web on their food plant. They feed on:

  • Pencil Cedar (Polyscias murrayi, ARALIACEAE).

    The adult moth has dark orange forewings with white spots. The hind wings are a paler orange colour. Its wingspan is about 3 cms.

    The species occurs in:

  • the north of Western Australia,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
