The adult moths of this species have grey forewings usually with two short dark brown streaks: one at the base and one near the middle.

In the males, the streaks are edged with rusty brown. The hindwings of both sexes are off-white, shading to pale brown at the margins. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • New South Wales,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
