The adult moth of this species has pale brown forewings each with a a number of dark marks. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms.

The species has been found in:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
