The forewings of the adult moth each have a brown pattern, including a central dark streak with a variable round white spot near the basal end and a pale kidney-shaped mark near the distal end.

The hindwings are pale brown shading to off-white at the bases, with dark veins. The wingspan is about 3 cms.
