This Caterpillar is green, with a yellow stripe along each side, and two yellow stripes on the last segment. It was found in Sydney feeding on

  • Privet ( Ligustrum vulgare, OLEACEAE ).


    The adult moth is either brown or grey, with a pattern including a broken dark band across its forewings. It has a wingspan of about 4 cms.

    The species occurs across south-east Asia, from India to New Caledonia, including

  • Japan,
  • Korea,
  • Taiwan,
  • Thailand,

    and in Australia in :

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
