The adult moth has speckled brown forewings, sometimes with white spots. The moth has a wing span of about 3 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • northern New South Wales.

    The genus Eustrotia is inappropriate for this species, but a better one has yet to be found.
