The adult moths of this species have brown forewings, each with a pattern of dark markings, including a dozen or so dark spots along the costa, several dark transverse zigzag lines, and a striking dark submarginal scalloped arc. The hindwings are brown with similar but vaguer markings. The wings have slightly scalloped margins. The wingspan is up to 4 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Western Australia, and
  • Northern Territory.
