The species has been found in Australia in
Turner originally placed the species in NOCTUINAE (NOCTUIDAE),
but later it was moved to CATOCALINI (EREBINAE, EREBIDAE)
The genus Raparna is inappropriate for this species,
but a better one has yet to be found.
