The adult moth of this species has forewings that are dark brown, with pale lines along the margin and costa, and a broad pale line from mid-costa to mid-tornus. The hindwings are yellow with a broad dark brown margin. The wingspan is about 4.5 cms.
The species has been found in Queensland.
