The adult moths of this species have brown forewings, each with a pattern of dark markings, including two large dark triangles on the costa. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The wings have slightly scalloped margins. The wingspan is about 4 cms.
The species has been found in:
The genus Oglasa is inappropriate for this species, and the species needs to be moved to a new genus.
