The adult moths of this species have grey forewings each crossed by black curvey line, and with sinuous shadowed dark submarginal lines. The hindwings are pale grey, also with dark shadowed sinuous submarginal lines. The wings have scalloped margins. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found inland, in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory, and
  • New South Wales.
