The adults are greyish-brown, with a sparse arc of dark spots, and a straight pale-edged dark dotted line parallel to the margin of each wing. The forewing margins are straighter than in other Epidesmia species. The moths have a wingspan of about 3.5 cms.

The species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory, and
  • Victoria.
