The adult moths of this species are greyish-brown. Each forewing has a deeply serrated dark submarginal line and a vague dark spot in the middle. The hindwings are greyish-brown, each with a shadow of a serrated submarginal band, and a vague dark spot in the middle. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.
